We call our exclusive blend of pure Aribica beans Fortissima to reflect its superlative taste. A shot of espresso forms the basis of our coffee and it is vital that this shot captures the absolute essence of the freshly roasted bean to produce a rich full bodied, bitter-sweet taste with a deep rusty crema.

We prefer to serve a shorter 'Italian style' drink in a smaller cup so the coffee has full flavour with umph. The fashion for coffee as a long drink is often to the detriment of quality when it is necessary to extend the espresso base with copious amounts of water and milk. Our coffee has been especially chosen so when stretched the strengths and subtleties of flavour are maintained. When necessary we will always start with a double espresso shot in order to maintain these qualities.
